2023 Allen Scholarship Application Form

    The first African-American student, Clarence Beecher Allen, entered The College of Wooster in the 1880s, and the College continues to be inspired by his achievements. In 1988, Wooster's Board of Trustees created the Clarence Beecher Allen Scholarship to be awarded based on academic merit and leadership. These scholarships commemorate the achievements of Wooster´s first African-American graduate.
     
    For African-American students wishing to apply, please follow the instructions below for full consideration of the Allen Scholarship.

    1. Complete the general Application for Admission.
    2. Complete this Allen Scholarship Application.

    Specifics:

    Applicants must complete all necessary materials by January 15, 2023.

    Finalists must participate in the Allen Competition Weekend on February 19-20, 2023.

    Final Scholarship results of the competition will be released by April 1, 2023
